[84502] A wave of sponsored advertisements promises 'record profits' in the stock market through Telegram channels
Proliferation of posts regarding "stocks with potential" in the Turkish stock market
During June 15, 2026, several financial Telegram channels, including Borsa Hisse Haber, Borsa Haber 🔔 and Borsa Haber Hisse🥇, published a series of messages promoting external Telegram groups. The channels, characterized by an aggressive marketing approach aimed at stock market investors, offer access to information on "stocks with the potential to lock at the maximum price" (Tavan).
The channels report alleged past successes. According to Borsa Hisse Haber, the operators claim that last Monday "we achieved the profit and exited" from stocks such as #BURCE and #VANGD, after they were posted in their group on Sunday. Similar claims were also raised by Borsa Haber Hisse🥇, which claims that "on Friday we gave (the stock) and on Monday we took the profit."
The content conveyed in these channels is focused on using terms like "market opportunities" and "trend rise," with marketing urgency to create a sense of missing out (FOMO). Borsa Hisse Haber calls on users to "grab your spot now" and claims that "being early always pays off," with the goal of attracting subscribers to external links for closed Telegram groups.
It is important to note that these channels employ a strategy of marketing massive quick profits, a tactic often considered very dangerous for private investors. The repeated use of tags such as "#Reklam" (advertisement) indicates that this is sponsored content designed to divert potential traffic to closed, unregulated platforms, which raises questions about the reliability of these promises compared to the risks involved in trading volatile stocks based on anonymous recommendations.
