[84405] A wave of viral messages on social media: From prophecies of abundance to superstitions
A wave of viral messages on social media
On June 15, 2026, an increase in activity was recorded by accounts on the social network X disseminating content that combines personal empowerment messages with promises of immediate financial abundance. The phenomenon, which gained exposure of over 13,700 views in a short period, focuses on persuasion methods based on user interaction in the comments.
The user Sozyuku led the trend by publishing a series of "predictions" for users. In one post, the account claims that anyone exposed to the message on June 15 or 16 will receive a "surprise of abundance" before the end of the month, while calling on followers to comment "111". In another message, the account defined the appeal as "not a joke" and claimed that the universe is preparing a "large flow of money" for users within a 24-hour range.
Alongside these messages, content appeared that encourages independent thinking or is based on superstitions. The user gam_brain_com published a message stating that "there is no point in thinking about what others think," and called on readers to act according to their own personal terms. At the same time, the user SebiNejamkis warned his followers that "ignoring cats" would bring them bad luck.
It appears to be the use of engagement techniques on social media, which combine folk beliefs together with artificial urgency to increase engagement in posts. There is no objective evidence for the veracity of the financial promises made by the involved accounts.
