New reports published on May 30, 2026, shed further light on the atrocities committed by Amjad Youssef, a former intelligence officer of the Assad regime, who is linked to the infamous massacre in the Tadamon neighborhood of Damascus.
According to the Daily Islamist channel, which is identified with critical positions against the Assad regime, Youssef was directly involved in the murder of six brothers from the same family. The channel notes that new reports indicate that Youssef, who was arrested by Syrian security forces last month, "even murdered children" as part of his operations according to Daily Islamist.
At the same time, the Sondakika Haber Gündem channel reported that the Syrian Ministry of Interior officially confirmed that the children of Dr. Rania al-Abbasi, who had been missing since 2013, were murdered by regime forces and under the direct responsibility of Amjad Youssef according to Sondakika Haber Gündem.
