Ahead of the Fenerbahçe football club presidential elections, candidate Aziz Yıldırım announced that he is personally working on signing two new strikers for the team. Yıldırım, who defines his candidacy as an attempt to "unite the division in the club," noted that he plans to announce the new acquisitions during the coming week. In a series of statements, Yıldırım emphasized that his direct intervention in negotiations is intended to ensure the team's success: "I am not coming to be a regular president; I am coming to set things in order," he said in a report by Fenerbahçe Ruhu. He claimed that if the club had made the right acquisitions in the striker position last season, the team could have won the championship.

On the other hand, voices supporting other candidates are being heard in the club. In Fenerbahçe Ruhu, they quoted Metin Sipahioğlu, who expressed support for candidate Hakan Safi, while highlighting the dynamism and energy that Safi might bring to the club's management and real estate projects.
