Spread of gambling promotions on social media
On May 12, 2026, extensive activity promoting online gambling and casino sites was identified via Telegram channels. The channel Türkçe Dublaj Filmler, which generally deals with entertainment and film content, published a series of advertisements offering financial benefits to users on the "Paşa Casino" site. Among the benefits mentioned: a 50% investment bonus on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, reaching up to 1,000 Turkish Lira, alongside an offer for a "welcome bonus" of 1,500 Turkish Lira with a promise of a 100% bonus on slots.
At the same time, a channel identified under the name Fenerbahçe Spor Kulübü also published a promotion for another gambling site called "Betium". According to the channel's announcement, the site offers a "20% cash investment bonus with no wagering requirements" (Çevrimsiz), under the title "Unlimited Bonus".
It is important to note that the reported channels, despite their names suggesting entertainment or sports content, actually function as aggressive marketing platforms for the online gambling industry. The publications are characterized by the use of alluring marketing language emphasizing "quick profits" and "high multiplier percentages," while pushing users to click on external links for registration and depositing funds.
The scope of exposure for these publications is estimated at 4,545 cumulative views in just one day, a figure that points to intensive attempts by entities in the gambling industry to penetrate diverse audiences on social media.
