Simultaneously, the channel Haber Gündem provided additional details regarding the scope of the findings, noting that it is a "major blow to the ISIS crypto network". According to the report, an investigation by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) revealed that approximately 170,000 dollars were transferred through wallets linked to the organization.
The operation, which was managed from Istanbul and spread across 16 provinces, highlights the growing use of financial technological means by terrorist organizations to evade traditional banking oversight.
