Traffic disruptions in Istanbul due to the "I am Running Istanbul" race

Today, May 3, 2026, significant traffic disruptions are expected in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul due to the sports event "İstanbul'u Koşuyorum Asya Etabı" (I am Running Istanbul - Asia Stage).

According to a report on the Haber Gündem channel, city authorities announced that "some roads in Üsküdar will be closed to traffic" during the day to allow for the race to be held safely.

The Sansürsüz Medya +18 channel provided more details, noting that the closures will be in effect "until 13:00." According to the channel, the following streets will be closed to traffic or will experience a complete halt in vehicle flow:

• Harem Coastal Road (Harem Sahil Yolu)


• Hakimiyeti Milliye Avenue (Hakimiyeti Milliye Caddesi)


• Paşa Limanı Avenue (Paşa Limanı Caddesi)


• Kuzguncuk Çarşı Avenue (Kuzguncuk Çarşı Caddesi) and the areas surrounding them.

Residents and drivers in the area are asked to plan their travel routes in accordance with these restrictions.
