Changes to the Academic Calendar

According to a report by the channel Son Dakika Haberler Türkiye, the Turkish Ministry of National Education is examining changes to the mid-term break policy. According to the report, the goal is the "abolition of mid-term breaks and the extension of the summer vacation," a step that may change the learning routine of millions of students in the country.

Multi-systemic Fight Against Violence

At the same time, following violent incidents that occurred in schools in the cities of Kahramanmaraş and Şanlıurfa, the government in Turkey has begun operational steps. According to Haber Gündem, a "combined formula" (karma reçete) has been launched to address the phenomenon. The move includes cooperation between four government ministries: the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and the Ministry of Health, alongside the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK).

The program is defined as a "four-pronged offensive" (Dört koldan taarruza geçildi) with the aim of implementing projects and solutions on the ground, with the goal of restoring personal security to students and teaching staff.
