Widespread drone attack wave directed at the Crimean Peninsula and Ukraine
During June 15, 2026, intensive activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was reported in several locations within the Ukrainian and Russian spheres. According to the Telegram channel Lpr 1, which is identified with pro-Russian positions and consistently reports on security alerts in conflict zones, high alert was declared in the northern Crimea region, including Armyansk and Simferopol.
The reports by Lpr 1 indicated "another wave of drones" moving toward Henichesk, Chonhar, and the Arabat Spit, continuing toward the Dzhankoy district and the Kerch area. At the same time, the channel noted that another group of drones was identified on its way toward Chonhar (to the full report).
In the Ukrainian sector, the Telegram channel Женьок Вещає… reported the detection of a single drone on its way toward the Obolon district in Kyiv (to the full report). This channel usually takes a line reporting on threats to Ukrainian territory.
Toward the late hours of the report, Lpr 1 noted that the drone threat had been removed over the Rostov region in Russia, indicating the end of the event in that sector. This was a coordinated wave of attacks that highlights the ongoing security tension and the increasing use of unmanned aerial means on both sides of the front.
