The Israel Police arrested two suspects who attacked women in Haifa and Jaffa, following exposures on social media and rapid police investigations.

In the last 24 hours, the Israel Police announced the resolution and arrest of suspects in two severe cases of violence against women, which caused an uproar on social media.
In Haifa, a minor was arrested who attacked and robbed a 78-year-old woman. According to the Daniel Amram without censorship channel, known for its line criticizing the incompetence of the authorities, the incident occurred when the suspect, dressed in a school shirt, attacked the woman on her way home. The victim fell hard to the ground and suffered injuries. The channel reported that the arrest was made possible thanks to investigation efforts that included collecting security camera footage from a nearby grocery store, after the family had resolutely called: "We must find this boy so he pays for what he did."
At the same time, the Hot News channel reported the arrest of another suspect in his 30s, who was documented attacking a woman on Harutzim Street in Jaffa. According to the police spokesperson's announcement published on the channel, the arrest was carried out in South Tel Aviv following covert and overt investigative activity intended to track down the identity of the attacker.
In both cases, the police confirmed that these were significant investigative actions carried out in a short time, and that it intends to request the extension of the suspects' detention in court in accordance with the findings of the investigation.
