In the last 24 hours, there has been an increase in tension between extremist Haredi elements and law enforcement authorities, with the placement of provocative signs at the entrances to central Haredi hubs.

According to a report on the 🎗️Israel News IL🎗️ channel, a sign was hung at the entrance to the city of Modi'in Illit declaring that "entry is forbidden" to the Israel Police and the Military Police. The channel, identified by its positions as supporting the government and its actions, reports on the incident as part of the ongoing friction between state authorities and extremist Haredi groups.

At the same time, the News Scene channel reported that a similar "warning" sign was placed at the entrance to Jerusalem. According to "News Scene", the signs explicitly state that "entry is forbidden to the Military Police and the Israel Police."

It appears to be an organized protest by elements on the Haredi fringes against law enforcement, and in particular against the activity of the Military Police, which comes against the backdrop of an active public discourse on the subject of the conscription of yeshiva students and the regulation of their status with the IDF.
