According to a report on Nitzan Shapira's Telegram channel, known for an editorial line supporting the positions of Israel and the US, "reports in Lebanon: residents of southern Lebanon are trying to return to their homes" were received.

At the same time, Kan 11 | Arab-Palestinian Desk, which sometimes presents a line critical of Israeli government policy, published "documentation and a report from Lebanon: residents of southern Lebanon are returning to their homes in the Nabatieh area". The reports confirm the movement felt on the ground in the Nabatieh area, without specifying the exact circumstances that led to the residents' decision to return to the area.
