[82917] Reports in Lebanon: IDF strike in Dahiyeh caused many casualties
Security tension in Lebanon: Strike in Dahiyeh
In the last day, an Israeli strike was reported in the Dahiyeh district of Beirut, which led to conflicting reports on the number of casualties. According to War Room, the Lebanese Ministry of Health updated that there are three fatalities and 16 injured in the strike. These figures are also backed by ynet news, which cite the state-run Lebanese news agency. Conversely, other sources such as News from the Field on Telegram and News Arena initially reported lower figures (two fatalities and seven injured), which indicates initial uncertainty on the ground.
Abu Ali Express, a channel identified with security analysis that adopts a pro-Israeli narrative, published that the IDF confirmed the execution of the strike via visual documentation. The channel highlighted the gap between official reports and unofficial reports that cited higher numbers of 3 fatalities and 15 injured.
Meanwhile, War Room provided cumulative data on the current campaign in Lebanon, according to which 3,783 fatalities and 11,699 injured have been recorded so far. Kol Yisrael News completed the picture with earlier data from June 13, showing the scope of cumulative casualties since the beginning of March 2026.
In addition to the security developments, it was reported on News Arena regarding a diplomatic stalemate, as the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that it would not sign the planned agreement with the United States today, a development that may affect the broader regional situation.
