Double tragedy: Toddlers passed away after circumcision

Over the weekend, tragic reports were received regarding the deaths of two week-old toddlers, shortly after they underwent a circumcision ceremony. Israel Hayom and Kav HaHadashot both reported that a week-old toddler passed away at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital after undergoing the ritual.

At the same time, ynet News reported on an additional case in which a week-old toddler passed away following a circumcision ceremony that took place in the Mateh Asher Regional Council. The media outlets did not indicate at this stage a direct connection between the cases, but the reports have caused a major stir online.

Fire in Tel Sheva

In addition to the difficult medical incidents, ynet News updated that a brush and waste fire broke out in an open area in Tel Sheva. According to the report, fire and rescue forces operated at the scene to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures.
