During the morning of June 1, 2026, the northern sector experienced a security incident that included alerts regarding fire from Lebanon. According to reports from News Line, security officials warned of the identification of launches and an expectation of alerts being activated in several locations along the confrontation line, including Kiryat Shmona, Kfar Giladi, Kfar Yuval, Tel Hai, and Margaliot.

Subsequently, the Home Front Command - North updated that the incident had reached its conclusion. According to the Command's announcement, those staying in protected spaces in the communities of Kfar Giladi, Kfar Yuval, and Ma'ayan Baruch are permitted to leave. At the same time, it was reported on the News Line that residents of Manara, Margaliot, and Kiryat Shmona were also instructed to leave the protected spaces after the incident was declared closed.
