A wave of reports is stirring the Iranian arena following a publication by Iran International, an exiled opposition network, according to which the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, sent an official letter of resignation to the Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei. According to the reports, published in various channels including News from the Field on Telegram, Pezeshkian claimed in his letter that the structure of the government has veered off official paths and that key parts of the country are under the exclusive control of factions within the Revolutionary Guards.

According to details provided by Carmel News, Pezeshkian warned that he is unable to manage the government and fulfill his legal duties due to the vacuum created in the decision-making process.
