Wave of violence on the streets: Severe cases of youth attacks
In the last 24 hours, two severe cases of brutal violence committed by groups of youths across the country have been exposed, raising heavy concerns regarding the escalation in personal security.
In a report published on the channel Daniel Amram Without Censorship, shocking footage was revealed from a building in Zichron Ya'akov, where youths are seen brutally attacking a person over money. According to the channel, which is known for its harsh critical line toward the system and law enforcement institutions, this involves a group of youths from Pardes Hanna who, according to witnesses, act "on behalf of those above" under the protection of criminal elements, and are employed as an executive arm for "collecting money" through violence.
At the same time, intersecting reports on the channels Daniel Amram Without Censorship and Hadashot 360 reveal a severe incident in Be'er Sheva. According to journalist Shimon Ifergan, a 55-year-old man who commented to a group of youths about "dangerous behavior on the road" was chased to his home on Tabenkin Street. There, the man was brutally attacked in front of his 78-year-old mother.
Despite the existence of security camera footage in both cases, the publications highlight criticism regarding the lack of immediate enforcement actions. In the Be'er Sheva case, it was explicitly noted that "so far, no arrest has been made" despite the clear documentation.
