Update: Development in the Bnei Brak murder investigation
The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court decided this morning (Wednesday) to extend the detention of the suspect in the murder that occurred last night in the city of Bnei Brak. Zirat HaHadashot reports that the detention was extended by 6 additional days for the purposes of continuing the investigation.
At the same time, a report on Hadashot Bazman on Telegram - Israel's largest news group adds that the court ordered the suspect, Tuvia Yaglanik, to be sent for a psychiatric evaluation in order to assess his fitness and mental state.
Both Telegram channels, which serve as general news channels focusing on reports from the field, report the event as an accomplished fact without publishing conflicting versions at this stage of the investigation.
