[67396] IDF orders evacuation of 12 villages in southern Lebanon ahead of a wave of strikes
IDF orders extensive evacuation in southern Lebanon
Throughout the day (19.05.2026), the IDF Arabic spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee, issued an urgent evacuation order to the residents of 12 villages and towns in southern Lebanon. According to reports from the channels Abu Ali Express and Hadashot 360, most of the settlements designated for evacuation are located in the Nabatieh and Tyre districts.
The directive was issued in preparation for a large-scale "wave of strikes," as noted in The News Voice on 🆃🅴🅻🅴🅶🆁🅰️🅼 and News Moment - Army and Security. The move comes after it was reported earlier in the morning that there was also a more localized evacuation warning for a single building on the outskirts of the city of Tyre, as published on the channel Asrar Lubnan (Lebanon Secrets).
Similar reports appeared simultaneously on other channels, including News from the Field, Nitzan Shapira, Israel Hayom, and News Channel 8200, all of which emphasized the broad scope of the evacuation. Most of the Israeli channels covering the event adopt a line that supports Israeli military activity as part of the fight against Hamas and security threats in the region.
On the other hand, the channel Asrar Lubnan - which often presents a critical narrative regarding Israeli activity in Lebanon - documented the evacuation notices as part of the growing tension, while placing an emphasis on the direct impact of the planned strikes on the civilian population in the south of the country.
