In parallel, Alma - Research and Education Center published a weekly report summarizing the IDF's aerial activity in Lebanon. Over the past week, 187 airstrikes were carried out, a figure indicating a "high and stable pace of activity" since the beginning of the ceasefire. In total, since the beginning of the period, 534 strikes have been carried out, including targeted assassinations of senior officials, among them the commander of the Islamic Jihad in the Bekaa region, Wa'el Mahmoud Abd al-Halim. The strikes focused on weapons depots, headquarters, and rocket launchers.
While the northern front is burning, the war also continues in the south. The Ongoing Security channel updated on overnight strikes in the Gaza Strip, with an emphasis on targets bombed in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area.
The "Patch" uproar in the IDF
In the internal military sphere, the News Online channel reports on widespread protest among reserve forces. About 5,000 fighters sent a letter to the Chief of Staff demanding to cancel a prison sentence imposed on a fighter who wore a patch with the inscription "Mashiach" (Messiah). The fighters argue that this is "selective enforcement and damage to the motivation of the fighters at the front," while protesting the heavy hand taken against the fighters compared to other cases that they claim receive leniency.
