Significant progress in the Netanyahu trial
After a long period of hearings, the cross-examination in Case 4000 regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has come to an end. According to reports by Amit Segal, Kol HaHadashot, and other media outlets, the court proceedings have now officially moved to Case 2000.
Commentator Eli Tzipori, who is identified with a critical stance toward the State Attorney's Office and is close to Netanyahu, noted that "there is no meaning to Tirosh's promises" regarding the duration of the hearings, and estimated that Netanyahu's testimony is expected to conclude during the month of June. According to him, the next phase, in which defense witnesses will be brought, will be "the State Attorney's Office's big nightmare."
