Tension on the northern border: Three IDF soldiers wounded by an explosive drone

During the day (Monday), many media outlets including Amit Segal, Hadashot Mehashetah on Telegram, and the IDF Spokesperson reported that three IDF soldiers were lightly wounded as a result of an explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital and their families have been updated on the incident.

In an additional report by Hadashot Bazman it was noted that during the rescue operation a malfunction occurred, when the first evacuation helicopter failed to take off, which led to the scrambling of a replacement helicopter that completed the evacuation of the soldiers. Additionally, reports were published on Kol HaHadashot – a channel that presents a pro-Israel line in its coverage – that the IDF uses dummies to deceive Hezbollah's explosive drone operators and disrupt their attack attempts.

Parallel to the events in the north, it was reported on the Bitachon Shotef channel regarding additional incidents in other sectors: a thwarted terror attack involving the throwing of Molotov cocktails at Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem, in which one of the terrorists was wounded, as well as activity by IDF forces with demolition tools in the Jalazone camp. Furthermore, it was noted that Warrant Officer (res.) Alexander Glubenov, may he rest in peace, fell last night during a previous drone attack on the Lebanon border.
