On the professional-political level, the Political Arena channel published remarks by Yehonatan Golan, CEO of the Hof Ashkelon Economic Company, regarding the appointment of Yehuda Eliyahu as CEO of the Israel Land Authority (ILA). Golan defined the appointment as "dramatic for the future of the State of Israel, its economy, and the entire real estate sector."
Golan criticized the conduct of the ILA to date and called for an immediate change: "The Negev and the Galilee do not have time for more plans, good intentions, and declarations. Immediate execution for rehabilitation and growth is required; which, unfortunately, the ILA has not been aware of until today." According to him, the new appointment should serve as an opportunity for deep bureaucratic reform, instead of continuing to serve interests that he claims are contrary to Israel's national vision.
