The central claim emerging from the reports of Amit Segal, Avishai Grinzaig, and Yinon Magal is that there is a suspicion of an intimate relationship between a key prosecution witness and a PID investigator, something that the defense claims requires an examination by an external body.

Conversely, Avishai Grinzaig reports that the prosecution witness denies the claims entirely. In an official response, the Attorney General stated that the claim was raised by Adv. Korb and would be examined "like any other claim." However, according to information that reached Grinzaig, the issue was raised over a month ago and was not examined until the media inquiry was published.
