Tropper's resignation and the fear of the electoral threshold

At the same time, the political system is in turmoil following the departure of Chili Tropper from the Blue and White party. According to Dafna Liel, Tropper decided to resign after he was "convinced beyond any doubt that there is no union of Gantz with another party around the corner," and he preferred not to remain in a party whose chances of joining [another] are low.
