In the internal political arena, journalist Eli Tsipori, who consistently expresses a position condemning the conduct of the legal and security establishment against Netanyahu, reports on dramatic testimony in the submarine affair. According to Tsipori, former Ministry of Defense Director-General, Dan Harel, admitted in his testimony that he acted against cabinet decisions and Netanyahu's instructions regarding the tender for the protection ships, with the approval of then-Defense Minister Bogie Ya'alon.

Tsipori notes that Harel explained his actions, which he defined as "subversion," based on subjective feelings that something "stinks" and is "puzzling," without a solid factual basis. Following this, Tsipori raised a public question as to why Harel was not investigated under caution for this conduct.
