Security escalation in the north and security forces activity
A day full of security events was recorded today (April 30, 2026), centering on a severe incident in the community of Shtula. According to a report by the 301 World Arab News channel, in the morning incident, 12 IDF soldiers were injured, two of them in moderate condition and ten in light condition.
Simultaneously with the activity in the Shtula area, extensive strikes by the Israeli Air Force in southern Lebanon were reported. According to 301 News, the forces carried out "a series of strikes now in southern Lebanon," and later, an attack was also reported in the Shiite village of Haris. At the same time, residents in the Ma'alot area reported interceptions in the sky without an early warning being activated, a fact that was confirmed by Channel 301.
In the operational sector, the Political-Security Cabinet - Moriah Asraf & Doron Kadosh channel reported that Alpinist Unit fighters completed an operation inside Lebanese territory on Mount Dov. During the activity, the forces destroyed "a number of launch positions and staging posts of Hezbollah terrorists."
In the internal arena, security forces are also continuing their operations in Judea and Samaria. According to Channel 301, IDF forces are operating throughout the day in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus. This channel, identified with intensive security coverage of Arab sectors, additionally noted a reference by Donald Trump to social media, without a direct connection to the security events.
