Traffic restrictions enforced ahead of Muharram events
Ahead of the mourning period of the month of Muharram, authorities in Iran have issued strict traffic guidelines. According to a report by the خبرفوری ࡆ اخبارفوری مذاקרה ࡆ جنگ فوری channel, the Iranian traffic police announced that there is a total ban on stopping and parking vehicles in front of mosques and Hosseiniyehs during the days of mourning.
In a message distributed on social media, and specifically on the خبرفوری news channel, it was clarified that the enforcement will be immediate and uncompromising: "It is stated that stopping in front of Hosseiniyehs and mosques during the Muharram period is prohibited, and any vehicle parked in these areas will be immediately towed to the impound lot."
