[87657] Tehran: Understanding document with the US to be officially published on Friday
Tehran responds to Bloomberg reports on the "Islamabad Agreement"
The Iranian news agency close to the security establishment, Tasnim, reported today that the text of the "Islamabad Agreement" between Iran and the US, as presented by Bloomberg, is inaccurate and suffers from "many flaws." According to a source close to the negotiating team, the final document will be officially published this Friday, immediately after its signing.
Claims of inaccuracies in foreign reports
Sources close to the negotiations, cited in the Tasnim Agency and widely circulated on official Telegram channels such as the Revolutionary Guards, claim that foreign reports omit critical keywords, especially regarding the clauses dealing with the Strait of Hormuz and other clauses among the 14 that make up the agreement.
Position of the Iranian administration
Messages conveyed through channels identified with the administration, such as Pezezhkian's Followers and Akharin Khabar, emphasize that any attempt to determine the content of the agreement before the official signing date on Friday is biased. These channels, which represent the official administration line, seek to calm the public and project control over the diplomatic process, while dismissing the "Bloomberg" narrative as unreliable.
The Iranian public is now awaiting Friday, when the full text is expected to be published, which, according to the political source, will clarify the inaccuracies that arose in recent reports in international media.
