Orange Warning: Rain and sandstorms expected across Iran

According to reports from several media outlets in Iran, including خبرفوری ࡆ اخبارفوری مذاکره ࡆ جنگ فوری, an orange-level warning was issued today, Tuesday, June 16, 2026, for the north and northeast of the country. The Iranian Meteorological Organization expects the passage of an unstable atmospheric wave that will bring "rain showers, thunder, and strong winds."
