Series of explosions across Iran: Reports of gas incidents and unexplained incidents
During the last 24 hours, several incidents of explosions have been reported in different areas of Iran, raising questions regarding their origin.
According to a report by the خبری پلاس|خبرفوری channel, associated with current news reports, an explosion that occurred on Sunday evening in the Bagh-e Abrisham neighborhood of Kermanshah was caused by a "gas leak and fire in a residential building." Two people were injured in the incident, and the fire spread to an adjacent building.
At the same time, the اخبار اعتراضات ایران-اصفهان channel – a channel associated with the opposition and unofficial sources – reported another gas explosion that occurred on Sunday night in a 40-unit housing complex in "Phase 1" of Andisheh. The Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), noted that at least four people were injured. However, the اخبار اعتراضات ایران-اصفهان channel added an unusual interpretation, according to which "reports from the field claim that this is a targeted assassination" of a person who was involved in contracts between the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and the Khatam al-Anbiya base.
In another sector, a mysterious incident was reported on Monday morning in Bandar Abbas. According to cumulative reports on the اخبار اعتراضات ایران-اصفهان channel, three massive explosions were heard around 09:07. Witnesses at the scene described it as "sounds of a heavy object, like a bomb, hitting the ground" and noted that the sounds were heard near the city's airbase.
