Following a decision by the provincial education committee, school exams in Yazd will be conducted remotely, while other provinces in Iran are reviewing their policies on the matter.
Change in Examination Policy in Yazd Province
According to reports on the Telegram channels اخبارفوری خبرفوری جنگ امریکا فوری and اخبارفوری خبرفوری جنگ امریکا حمله, which are known for their editorial line focused on breaking news and internal Iranian events, an official decision was made in Yazd province to move internal school exams to an online format.
The Deputy Governor for Political and Security Affairs of Yazd province announced that according to the final decision of the professional committee of the Provincial Education Council, internal exams in secondary schools (middle and high schools) will be held remotely. The announcement was also published simultaneously on the یِ دانش آموز channel, which monitors issues related to students in Iran.
In addition, the یِ دانش آموز channel notes that this trend of canceling in-person exams is spreading across the country. According to the channel, most provinces that previously announced in-person exams have backtracked, except for three provinces that currently remain with their original policy: Lorestan, Kerman, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad. The remaining provinces in Iran have yet to release an official update on the matter or have announced a shift to online exams.
