Religious initiatives and joint Quran reading across Iran
During the day of May 22, 2026, several Iranian Telegram channels reported on the promotion of religious initiatives encouraging the public to read chapters from the Quran on a daily basis. The initiatives emphasize the importance of studying religious texts as part of the daily routine.
The official channel of the Iranian Red Crescent, a humanitarian body affiliated with the government, called on its users in a post published at this link to join an initiative under the title "Let's read one page of the Quran every day." The channel, which presents an official line consistent with the values of the state, noted that today is dedicated to reading the Surah Al-Fatiha, which is the first Surah in the Quran, and added a call to subscribers: "Invite each other to read the Quran."
At the same time, the regional news channel آخرین خبر خوزستان (Latest Khouzestan News), which deals with the daily affairs of the Khouzestan province, published an update as part of the "Every day with the Quran" series. According to the report at this link, the channel is continuing its "fourth round of completing the Quran" and refers its readers to page 171, which includes parts of the Surah Al-A'raf.
