The Ministry of Education in Iran has published new guidelines regarding the recruitment policy for teaching staff and administrative personnel for the upcoming school year. According to the Ministry of Education spokesperson, Ali Farhadi, the ministry is working to resolve issues related to the absorption of human resources at pedagogical universities (Farhangian University and Shahid Rajaee University) as well as the recruitment of service staff. Conditional opening of the school year
In reports circulated by the Akharin Khabar channel, identified with the establishment press in Iran, it was emphasized that the central condition for conducting certification exams is the ability of the new teachers to report to classrooms at the beginning of the month of Mehr (September). According to the report, Farhadi noted that "if it is not possible to place the teachers in classrooms by the month of Mehr, there is no point in holding recruitment exams during the current year."
Status of "Mehr-Afarin" teachers
In addition, Farhadi clarified the situation of teachers employed under temporary contracts ("Mehr-Afarin" program). According to Akharin Khabar Lorestan, the ministry emphasizes that "in terms of salary, there is no difference between these teachers and other teachers," and that changing their formal status to officially employed will not bring about a change in their current salary level.
The ministry clarifies that the recruitment procedures are conditional on the signatures of two central government bodies: the Administrative and Recruitment Organization and the Planning and Budget Organization, which grant the "dual-signature approval" required to execute the tenders.
