The Deputy Governor for Security Affairs of Yazd province issued an official clarification on the matter. According to اخبارفوری خبرفوری جنگ امریکا فوری, the official stated that a "controlled explosion resulting from the neutralization of ammunition in a military area outside the borders of the city of Yazd" is being carried out throughout the day, until 16:00.
