CENTCOM: 'Toska' tanker crew transferred to Pakistan on their way back to Iran

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the process of transferring 22 crew members of the Iranian ship "Toska" to Pakistan has been completed, as part of the procedures for their return to Iran. According to a report by Iran International, which is affiliated with the Iranian opposition and is a harsh critic of the Tehran regime, CENTCOM spokesperson Tim Hawkins stated: "Today, U.S. forces completed the transfer of 22 Toska crew members to Pakistan to return them to their country."

It was further reported by Iran International that six additional passengers, identified in Iranian state media as family members of some of the crew, were transferred to a regional country last week as part of the preparations for their return.

Simultaneously, the Iranian news agency آخرین خبر, which is affiliated with the official line of the Tehran regime, confirmed the details of the move, citing the report by the American network ABC. According to آخرین خبر, the ship itself, which was seized last month on claims of attempting to violate the U.S. naval blockade, is "now being returned to its original owners."

CENTCOM's spokesperson noted that these steps mark the end of the affair in which the ship was seized last month, when it attempted, according to the U.S. military's claim, to bypass the sanctions and the naval blockade imposed on Iran.
