Against the backdrop of reports of an escalation in threats from the United States administration toward Cuba, the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, announced that his country is preparing for "fierce resistance" to any invasion attempt. According to the 'Fars International' Telegram channel, which is identified with positions critical of the West, Díaz-Canel defined the American threats as "dangerous and unprecedented" and claimed that they stem from the motives of a "small but wealthy and influential group" acting out of a desire for revenge and control.

On the other hand, officials in the Cuban capital declare that there will be no surrender. According to the 'Fars' channel, the Cuban President emphasized that "no invader, however powerful, will see a surrender in Cuba," and that the Cuban people are prepared to defend their sovereignty on every piece of land.

Meanwhile, significant diplomatic backing arrived from Latin America. The President of Colombia addressed the situation and declared that he strongly opposes any military action against Havana. As reported in 'Akharin Khabar', the President of Colombia clarified that "an attack against Cuba is an attack against Latin America," and called for the Caribbean region to remain a "zone of peace."
