Foreign Policy warning: Devastating consequences for a potential war with Iran
In a series of reports published on May 2, 2026, various Telegram channels drew attention to an analysis by the American magazine 'Foreign Policy'. According to the sources, the magazine warns that a war with Iran would be a "geopolitical earthquake" whose strategic consequences would be felt by the United States and the entire world for many years.
The reports, which have collectively garnered over 24,500 views, appeared in a variety of channels with different orientations:
- News channels focused on security and military affairs, such as اخبارفوری خبرفوری جنگ امریکا فوری, خبرفوری جنگ🚨اخبارفوری امریکا فوری, and هات نیوز | فوری 🔴, highlighted the Foreign Policy warning as an indication of the severity of the current strategic situation.
- Conversely, political channels identified with internal factions in Iran, including حامیان پزشکیان and آخرین خبر, echoed the exact same assertion, emphasizing that these are "strategic consequences that the world will live with for years." According to the Hamian Pezeshkian channel, the goal of disseminating this message is to highlight the heavy price of any military escalation against the West.
Data analysis suggests this is a uniform message conveyed across all the surveyed platforms, with no difference between channels identified with the Iranian government and independent news channels. All sources rely on the credibility of the American magazine to validate the claim that a military confrontation is not merely a regional issue, but a wide-ranging global shock.
