Throughout the day (April 30, 2026), it was reported by official and government-affiliated media in Iran that the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, called on the Iranian public to view the country's nuclear and missile technologies as a national asset of supreme importance. According to him, as reported in the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's media, "Ninety million proud Iranians are the guardians of nuclear and missile technology."

The message, which was also published on channels identified with the Revolutionary Guards, IRGC News Channel 🏴, as well as on the Pezeshkian Supporters channel, emphasizes that "the miraculous awakening of the Iranian nation" is not limited only to the struggle against "Zionism and the United States," but includes uncompromising defense of all the scientific and industrial capabilities of the country.

According to sources identified with the regime, which are considered bodies that disseminate Tehran's official line, the goal is to present a unified front of the public, both at home and in the diaspora, backing advanced developments ranging from nanotechnology and biotechnology to long-range missile systems. As noted in the report by the pioneers of the struggle, these technologies are perceived as an integral part of the country's sovereignty, similar to the defense of maritime and land borders.
