Sounds of explosions have been reported in Saudi Arabia on March 18, 2026, according to alerts from multiple Iranian news channels on Telegram. The breaking reports emerged simultaneously across Iranian outlets representing different domestic political factions.
The حامیان پزشکیان (Pezeshkian Supporters) channel, which aligns with Iran's reformist president, stated that there is "Explosion sound in Saudi Arabia right now." At the same time, the کانال اخبار سپاه پاسداران 🏴 (IRGC News Channel), a hardline outlet affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported, "Right now/ Explosion sound reported in Saudi Arabia."
These reports follow a massive regional escalation that began on March 16.
