The reward for the head of the American spy who defected to Iran
The FBI announced today, May 15, 2026, a $200,000 reward for anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and prosecution of Monica Witt, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer and agent in the Office of Special Investigations. According to reports by Amir Tsarfati, TabZ - Alternative Media, WarFront Witness, and Jewish News 24, Witt defected to Iran in 2013 and handed over sensitive and classified intelligence regarding U.S. national security to the authorities in Tehran.
Witt is accused of serious espionage crimes detailed in an indictment filed against her back in February 2019. According to Bellum Acta – a source with a distinct pro-Israel and anti-Iranian inclination – the accused is "suspected of providing national security information to Iran".
The charges against her include the exposure of sensitive intelligence plans, the exposure of the identities of undercover agents, and assisting Iranian authorities in locating and harming former American intelligence personnel and their families. This is an ongoing security case that constitutes a significant embarrassment for the American intelligence community, as according to Amir Tsarfati, citing the details of the indictment, Witt used her insider access to directly harm American interests for the benefit of the Ayatollah regime.
