According to reports from Al Jazeera and other media outlets, the Lebanese Ministry of Health released updated figures on casualties as a result of the "Israeli aggression" (a definition appearing in reports by Al Mayadeen | Breaking). According to the data, from March 2 to June 20, 2026, the death toll rose to 4,057 people, while the number of wounded reached 12,121.

Last Friday, June 19, intensive strikes were recorded in southern and eastern Lebanon, which claimed the lives of 83 people and caused the injury of 141 others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. Channels identified with the Axis of Resistance, such as Resistance Path {South Lebanon}, emphasize that the casualties in the "Qanarit massacre" are civilians only, and describe Israel's military activity as "Zionist aggression."

At the same time, reports from media outlets identified with opposition elements or military bodies, such as Al Mayadeen - Al Mayadeen Channel, note that the Ministry of Health of the "Israeli occupation government" reported 13 wounded in Israeli territory during Friday, bringing the total number of wounded since the beginning of the conflict with Lebanon to 932, according to the source's definition.
