[91945] Iraq: Ministry of Education prepares to release 9th grade (Third Intermediate) exam results
Preparations for the release of Third Intermediate results in Iraq
The education system in Iraq is preparing to release the final exam results for the 9th grade (Third Intermediate) in the coming week. According to reports on local social media, educational institutions have begun distributing examinee numbers and personal secret codes to each student, which will be used to view the results on official websites.
Updates on the grading process
Local channels, led by Neymar Ibn Al-Anbar, report that the exam grading process is still ongoing. Additionally, there have been reports of a leniency policy regarding the final grade, where, according to Ibn Al-Gharbia Educational Network, scores between 45 and 49 will be rounded up to 50, which ensures a "very high success rate."
Instructions for students
Organizations such as Santer Al-Sads and Iraqi Students Assembly emphasize that the secret code is personal to each student and that parents or students must contact the school administration directly to receive it. It is important to note that grade information will be sent individually and not as a general list.
At the same time, these sources published optimistic news regarding students who did not pass the exams, with hints that a "Dukhul Shamil" (comprehensive entry/special track) might be implemented ahead of the second-round exams, which could help students who did not reach the required threshold to participate in the supplementary exams.
