Lebanese sources report today, June 19, 2026, on an extensive wave of Israeli airstrikes in the Nabatieh district in the south of the country. The Lebanese Ministry of Health updated that the death toll has risen to 18 people, along with 33 additional wounded as a result of the strikes.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the focal points of the strikes were concentrated on the towns of Al-Sharqiya, Harouf, and Kfar Sir. The Civil Defense in southern Lebanon confirmed in a conversation with Al Jazeera network that "eight martyrs" were killed in one strike carried out in the early morning hours in the town of Harouf.

At the same time, Palestine Today News Agency reported the death of two additional people as a result of a strike on a motorcycle in the town of Ad-Duwayr. Anadolu Agency defined the events as the "most violent attack since the signing of the agreement between Tehran and Washington."

The reporting sources, which include media outlets identified with the Resistance Axis such as Quds News Network and Palestine Dialogue Network, describe the Israeli activity as "widespread aggression" and a "Zionist attack" on the southern villages, using terms that emphasize condemnation of Israel's actions. The reports come amidst ongoing security tension in the region.
