[89464] Hezbollah publishes footage of attacks using suicide drones in southern Lebanon
The Hezbollah organization has distributed videos documenting the hitting of IDF military vehicles using 'Ababil' UAVs during the month of June.
Hezbollah's military media channels, including الإعلام الحربي في المقاومة الإسلامية, published a series of videos showing attacks carried out against IDF forces in southern Lebanon. The documentation focuses on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Ababil" type, which are defined by the organization as "مחלקה انقضاضيّة" (suicide drone).
According to the reports of الاعلام الحربي, on June 3, 2026, an attack was carried out against a "ناقلة جند" (personnel carrier) of the Israeli enemy army in the vicinity of the historic Beaufort Castle (Qala'at al-Shaqif). The event was also covered extensively by شبكة قدس الإخبارية, which emphasized the use of the mentioned technology against IDF forces in this area.
In addition, documentation was published of another attack that occurred on June 13, 2026, targeting an "آلية هندسيّة" (engineering vehicle) of the IDF in the suburbs of the town of Majdal Zoun. According to وكالة شهاب, the operation was also carried out using an "Ababil" drone.
Additional media outlets identified with the Axis of Resistance, such as قناة فلسطين اليوم and أخبار غزة الأن│Warlife, distributed the footage while using terminology glorifying the activity of the "المقاومة الإسلامية" (Islamic Resistance). The videos were distributed under the title "وبَشِّر الصّابِرين" (And give good tidings to the patient), a religious expression used by the organization for psychological and propaganda warfare.
