Reports of a historic memorandum of understanding between Tehran and Washington to end the war on all fronts
Arab media outlets, led by Al Mayadeen, are reporting extensively on a memorandum of understanding revealed by 'Bloomberg' agency, which outlines a process to end the war between Iran and the United States and their allies on all fronts, including Lebanon. According to the report, the parties have committed to an "immediate and final declaration of the end of the war", complete avoidance of hostile acts, and conducting negotiations for a final agreement within 60 days.
As part of the understandings, as published by the Quds News Network, the United States will lift the naval blockade on Iran and grant exemptions for oil exports and banking services, concurrently with the unfreezing of Iranian assets and funds. Furthermore, a broad economic plan was revealed, published by the Yemen News Network, which includes a fund for the reconstruction of Iran totaling approximately $300 billion, with the aim of encouraging international investment in the country.
On the nuclear level, reports indicate that Iran will recommit not to produce nuclear weapons, while core nuclear issues will be discussed within the framework of a permanent agreement to be submitted for approval by the UN Security Council. Media outlets identified with the Axis of Resistance, such as News of Lebanon, Gaza Now, and the World♦️, emphasized that the US has committed to withdrawing from areas surrounding Iran within 30 days of signing the final agreement.
Conversely, FRANCE 24 Arabic quotes President Donald Trump confirming that the details of the agreement "will be announced soon in an official framework." Simultaneously, reports in Nabatieh, Capital of Mount Amel〄 quote the US Vice President emphasizing that the negotiations do not constitute a "prize" for Iran, but rather a strategic step, while clarifying that if Iran fails to meet its commitments, "its nuclear and military programs will remain under threat."
In the meantime, media outlets in Israel, as quoted in Nabatieh, Capital of Mount Amel〄, are expressing concern over the impact of the agreement, with the newspaper 'Haaretz' cited as stating that "the Bermuda Triangle in the Strait of Hormuz has swallowed Israeli security doctrine."
