[82923] Hezbollah publishes footage of attacks against the IDF and the downing of a strategic drone in southern Lebanon
The Hezbollah organization has released a series of videos documenting attacks against IDF targets in southern Lebanon using UAVs and missiles, alongside reports of downing an Israeli 'Heron 1' model aircraft.
Over the past day, the Hezbollah organization has increased its publications showing documentation of its operations in southern Lebanon. According to reports by Islamic Resistance Military Media, the organization made extensive use of 'Ababil' suicide drones against IDF forces, including hitting logistical points in Bayada, in the area of Zawtar el-Sharqiyeh, as well as against a Merkava tank near the Beaufort Castle (Qala'at al-Shaqif).
At the same time, Anadolu Agency reported that Hezbollah distributed a video documenting the downing of the Israeli strategic drone model 'Heron 1 - Shoval' in the skies over the Nahleh area in the Beqaa Valley. According to the organization's claim, as published on Al Jazeera, this is the first time this model has been downed, and its value is estimated at approximately 10 million dollars. Sputnik Arabic added that the organization claims it possesses the remains of the vehicle and is capable of examining the military technology within it, while according to the sources, "Israel is imposing a heavy media blackout on the event."
In addition, it was reported on channels identified with the organization, such as Quds News Network, about an attack on the 'Blat' base using a 'high-quality missile.' Al-Mayadeen also echoed the documentation of the suicide drones, while emphasizing operational activity in the field under the title 'Defending Lebanon and the Skies.' All sources belonging to the axis identified with the organization use terms such as 'resistance' and 'Zionist enemy,' while presenting defined successes in attacking IDF targets in communities such as At-Tayyibe, Naqoura, and Majdal Zoun.
