According to reports from the Islamic Resistance Combat Information and Combat Information - News Coverage channels, the organization carried out a series of military operations against IDF forces in southern Lebanon on Friday, May 1, 2026. In official statements on behalf of the organization, it was claimed that these were a "response to the violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist enemy" and to harm inflicted upon civilians in cities and villages in southern Lebanon.

According to the detailed report published on the Nabatieh channel, the organization carried out at least nine targeted military operations throughout the day. The operations included the use of "suicide unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)" and artillery shells against troop concentrations and military vehicles in the towns of Houla, Al-Bayada, Bint Jbeil, Taybeh, Adaisseh, Al-Qusair, and Rchaf. Among other things, a direct hit was noted on a "Merkava tank" in the Rchaf area.

In an additional report by the Shehab Agency, it was emphasized that one of the significant attacks was carried out at 19:15 against a building where IDF soldiers were fortified in the town of Al-Bayada, using a suicide drone. The organization stated that it views these actions as a "minimal duty" to defend Lebanon, its people, and Lebanese sovereignty against what it defined as "enemy aggression."

The reports reflect a narrative of the "Al-Asf al-Ma'kul" battle (The Eaten Storm), using religious and militant language characteristic of Hezbollah's information channels. No casualties were mentioned on the part of the organization, but it was emphasized that the attacks came as a direct response to "crimes" attributed to Israeli forces within Lebanese territory.
